ABOUT christina

Compassionate • Relational • Trauma-Informed • Family Focused

Christina is a compassionate and engaging therapist who believes meaningful healing begins within the safety of a trusting therapeutic relationship. She provides a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families feel heard, understood, and empowered to create lasting change.

She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and integrates evidence-based treatment with genuine compassion to help clients overcome life's challenges while building resilience, confidence, and healthier relationships.

Her clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Experiential Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness-Based interventions, Family Systems approaches, Attachment Theory, and Strengths-Based Treatment. She also incorporates developmentally appropriate play therapy techniques and expressive interventions when working with children, helping young clients process emotions, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and improve communication in ways that feel natural and engaging.

Christina has experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, parenting challenges, family conflict, relationship difficulties, behavioral concerns in children and adolescents, self-esteem, stress management, grief and loss, career-related concerns, and addiction recovery. She also enjoys working collaboratively with parents by providing practical parenting strategies, improving family communication, strengthening attachment, and helping families create healthier patterns of connection and emotional safety.

She believes that healing begins within the safety of a trusting therapeutic relationship. Christina strives to create a warm, accepting, and collaborative environment where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered throughout their journey. She recognizes that our lives are shaped by countless small moments and experiences that influence how we think, feel, relate to others, and view ourselves today. Together, she helps clients explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion while developing practical tools that foster resilience, emotional well-being, and lasting change.

Outside the counseling room, Christina enjoys spending time at the beach, connecting with family and friends, and embracing opportunities to slow down, recharge, and practice mindfulness. These experiences reinforce her belief that balance, meaningful relationships, and intentional self-care are foundational to emotional health and overall well-being.
