ABOUT danielle

Couple & Family Counseling | Trauma Recovery | Christian Counseling | Women's Healing

Danielle Cador is a compassionate Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals, couples, families, and groups experience lasting emotional, relational, and spiritual healing. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. Danielle combines evidence-based clinical treatment with authentic compassion, cultural humility, and faith-centered care to create an environment where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and empowered.

Danielle believes healing is not a destination but a lifelong journey. Her therapeutic philosophy recognizes that every person's story is unique and deserves to be approached with empathy, respect, and individualized care. She is passionate about helping clients discover resilience, restore hope, and develop practical tools that foster emotional wellness and healthier relationships.

Prior to entering the counseling profession, Danielle spent over 15 years in federal contracting, where she developed exceptional skills in communication, documentation, ethical decision-making, professionalism, and relationship building. This professional background contributes to her highly organized, collaborative, and client-centered clinical approach.

Healing is not linear. Healing is a journey.

Danielle is especially passionate about serving women who have experienced trauma, abuse, rejection, grief, identity struggles, and relational wounds. She has devoted years to ministering to women affected by rape, sexual abuse, molestation, sexual harassment, rejection, and emotional brokenness. Drawing from both professional training and personal testimony, Danielle speaks nationally and internationally about God's ability to transform profound pain into healing, restoration, and renewed purpose.  She is also the host of The Butterfly Effect Podcast, where she encourages listeners through discussions surrounding emotional healing, trauma recovery, spiritual growth, identity, and faith.

Danielle deeply values cultural humility and recognizes that every client's cultural, ethnic, family, and spiritual experiences influence their healing journey. As a woman of color, she remains committed to lifelong learning regarding multicultural counseling competencies and strives to create an inclusive therapeutic environment where every individual feels respected and understood.

Her counseling style is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and deeply relational. Whether utilizing evidence-based psychotherapy, somatic interventions, or Christian counseling, Danielle walks alongside clients with compassion while empowering them to experience meaningful and lasting transformation.

She offers a complimentary 15-minute consultation for prospective clients seeking to determine the best therapeutic fit.
